How to find a job in sport fishing industry? I am a serious bassfisherman from Japan. Besides working a full-time job in New Jersey, I fish bassfishing tournaments. My full-time job is nothing to do with bassfishing. To contribute all my life for bassfishing, I would like to move to south and work in fishing tackle industry, but don't know how to find a job in fishing tackle industry. Could someone please help me find a job in the industry? I want to stay in the industry and the sport as much as possible. Thank you!

If fishing is such a great sport why is it not in the Olympics? No other man or can say they have enjoyed sitting around watching another person hanging out a rod and say it is fun. Can you see the fishing competition on TV or listen to is in full swing on the radio? Next there will be‘paint a wall competition’ and the winner is the wall that dried first.

Should the US government ban salmon and steelhead fishing for a few years? I have noticed a big drop in their numbers, since I fished as a kid. how to convince people that fishing /hunting is not a sport? i think you can fish or hunt if you are hungry and will take only what you need for yourself and family. Why are there still thousands of people that will go out fishing just for the fun of it when most of them are already overfed (overweight).The oceans have to be protected from "fun fishing".

Does anyone else think that shark fishing is barbaric? Does anyone have any knowledge of what sharks (if any) are on the threatened or endangered list? For the few people who get bitten by sharks, thousands of sharks are slaughtered for their fins or for sport fishing every day. I think this is outrageous.
