- coarse fishing is a general name for fishing for all species of fish that are not related to trout and salmon. game fishing is fishing for trout, salmon, grayling and relatives. specimen fishing is to go out to catch only the larger fish of each species. ie the biggest carp, tench or roach and not the smaller schooling variety. feeder fishing is by using a plastic tube called a feeder filled with food and presenting it with your hook nearby. match fishing is competition fishing for large numbers of small coarse fish. fly fishing(mainly used for game fishing) is to use an imitation fly made of feathers to try to catch a fish. hope this helps.
- Unless you're in the UK noone would know what you're talking about. in north america: specimen = trophy fishing match = tournament fishing coarse = well a lot of different species! (doesn't really describe a type of fishing) fly = using a fly a rod and fly reel, which utilizes a different casting technique

- Fly fishing - Fly fishing rod and line. Artifical baits using natural or synthetic material to imitate natural food preyed on my the target fish. To simulate the natural prey, the artifical baits have to be presented as naturally as possible. To achieve this fly lines of different weights and casting styles are used to deliver the fly to the exact location. To fly fish successfully requires the fisherman to master fly casting techniques for distance and accuracy. Fly fishing originated in fresh waters but is not very popular in salt water as well. feeder fishing is done with using a "feeder" as part of the fishing rig. A feeder is either a spiral or basket made of wire or plastic used to hold paste type bait to attract the target fish. Attached to the feeder is a a short hook length and hook also baited with the same paste bait presented next to the ball of dough/paste bait. Match fishing is a tournament of competing teams and/or individuals, with each angler assigned a certain peg, or designated area about 13 yards long. The angler can only fish within his or her peg, which is drawn at random. The two end-pegs are the coveted positions, as the lucky angler only has one neighbor to contend with. The goal is to catch the greatest amount of fish by weight, regardless of species ........ http://fishing.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=fishing&cdn=sports&tm=10&f=00&tt=14&bt=0&bts=0&zu=http%3A//www.carpecarpio.com/matchfishing-canam2000.html I don't know the difference between match and course fishing. Perhaps the type of tackle used. Specimen and carp fishing are similar.
